Pleasant Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to
join our team. The successful candidate will perform blood
collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for
patients of all ages. You will be responsible for collecting
specimens for various tests, entering patient data accurately, and
providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform
blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all
age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests,
alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a
timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments
when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and
analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide
superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative
and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when
needed. Essential Skills At least 1-2 years of recent phlebotomy
experience. Experience with blood draws for pediatric to geriatric
patients. Experience with at least 25 patient draws per day. High
school diploma or GED. Strong customer service skills. Additional
Skills & Qualifications Phlebotomy certification from an accredited
agency is preferred. Proven track record in providing exceptional
customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable
working under minimal supervision. Work Environment Work within a
nationally renowned diagnostic laboratory. The work hours are
Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. The position requires working
in a fast-paced environment, handling various administrative and
clerical tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire
position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay
range for this position is $17.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
