Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for skilled Special
Education Teachers to support K-12 students in South Carolinas
Charleston County School District. This full-time contract role is
based onsite across multiple school locations in the North
Charleston and West Ashley areas, as well as Liberty Hill Academy,
serving diverse classrooms with specialized needs. Employment is
scheduled from ASAP through May 29, 2026. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students
with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and
other special education needs. - Manage classrooms specializing in
Low Incidence and Intensive Developmental Support. - Collaborate
effectively with teaching assistants, Registered Behavior
Technicians (RBTs), and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
to implement best practices and behavior support strategies. -
Maintain accurate records of student progress and design
appropriate interventions based on assessments. - Foster a
positive, nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and
growth. Qualifications & Experience: - Active South Carolina State
Licensure for Special Education teaching; Multi-Categorical
licensure preferred. - Experience working with students with
intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder is highly
valued. - Comfortable managing classrooms with challenging behavior
in collaboration with behavioral specialists. - Ability to work
full-time, Monday through Friday. Locations: - Two positions in
North Charleston area - Two positions in West Ashley area - One
