Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. Special Education teaching opportunities are available
for the 2024-2025 academic year in multiple school settings within
Lexington County School District 02, located in West Columbia, SC.
These full-time contract positions start August 7, 2024, and
conclude May 28, 2025, with work hours ranging from 35 to 40 hours
per week. Candidates with a valid Special Education (SPED) teaching
license, specifically with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities
or Multicategorical Special Education, are encouraged to apply.
Positions are open across elementary, middle, and high school
levels, offering a range of classroom environments including
resource rooms, learning disabilities self-contained classrooms,
emotional disabilities self-contained settings, and COAP
self-contained programs. Key Qualifications: - Valid SPED teaching
certificate with Learning Disabilities or Multicategorical
endorsement - Experience working with elementary, middle, or high
school special education students - Strong classroom and behavioral
management skills - Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary
