Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An exciting opportunity is available for experienced
Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a full-time,
on-site contract position located in Mount Pleasant, SC. The
assignment runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, serving two school
locations with a focus on autism and resource classrooms.
Responsibilities include: - Providing specialized instruction and
support to students with intellectual disabilities and autism
spectrum disorder (ASD). - Collaborating with a team including a
Teaching Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and a
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized
education plans (IEPs). - Managing classroom behaviors and
fostering a supportive learning environment tailored to diverse
student needs. - Ensuring compliance with all state and federal
special education regulations and standards. Qualifications and
desired experience: - Active South Carolina state licensure as a
Special Education Teacher; multi-categorical licensure preferred. -
Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) and those with behavioral challenges. - Strong
classroom management skills and ability to work collaboratively in
a multidisciplinary team. - 0-10 years of experience working in
special education settings; all experience levels considered.

Charleston County) - Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday -
Duration: Current School Year contract through May 29, 2026 -
