Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. Two special education teaching positions are available
in an elementary school setting located in Georgetown, TX. These
contract roles support students in specialized classrooms designed
to provide individualized instruction and care, enhancing
developmental and academic growth in young learners. Position 1:
Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Work with 3- and
4-year-old students in an early childhood special education
classroom. Manage a caseload of 4 students requiring personalized
attention. Collaborate closely with 3 paraprofessionals to deliver
effective instruction. Provide support with toileting and
diapering; experience in these areas is essential. Position 2:
Alternate Curriculum Teacher Teach life skills and functional
academics to students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Lead one
class operating across two classrooms. Support a student population
that includes children with autism and Down syndrome. Work
alongside 2 paraprofessionals to foster student growth and
independence. Qualifications: Valid special education teaching
certification. Experience working with young children and managing
individualized education plans (IEPs). Strong communication and
teamwork skills to collaborate with paraprofessionals and other
educators. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students
