Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites recent nursing graduates to apply for our
innovative New Graduate Nurse Residency program. This program
provides new nurses with the tools and experiences they need to
transition from a student to a competent, professional nurse at a
nurturing and supportive environment. The residency includes
extensive training, direct supervision, and the opportunity to
practice in various aspects of patient care under the HCA
Healthcare umbrella. With the guidance of experienced mentors and
support from one of the leading healthcare providers in the
country, residents will develop the skills necessary to deliver
high-quality care and make a meaningful impact on the lives of
patients. Participate actively in training sessions and scheduled
rotations in various departments. Collaborate with a team of
healthcare professionals to provide outstanding patient care.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Engage fully with the mentoring process and seek feedback for
improvement. Manage time effectively to handle patient caseload and
documentation requirements. Utilize evidence-based nursing
practices to achieve the highest standards of care. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle stressful
situations and high-pressure environments Adaptability to change
and eagerness to learn Basic computing skills for entry and
retrieval of patient information Critical thinking and
problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must have passed the NCLEX-RN prior
to start of residency. Additional certifications such as Basic Life
Support (BLS) preferred.
