Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:30 Guaranteed Hours: 36-40 hour work week, Monday-Friday Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: RCIS Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - Previous experience in Electrophysiology (EP), including scrubbing for procedures like ablations and device implants - Ability to monitor procedures is a bonus Job Description: - The unit has 315 beds with specialized services for cardiac care - Advanced procedures include Ablations (A. Fib, SVT, AV Node) and Implants (PPM, ICDs, Bi-Vs, ILR, Watchman) - Utilize equipment involving General Electric and document procedures using Meditech systems - Dress code requires surgical scrubs, provided by the unit - The unit offers a newly renovated lab and features experienced staff - The team is known for its collaboration with physicians and leading in EP procedures - Enjoy the benefit of a 4-day work week with an alternating day off every week - Known for delivering a high volume of EP programs - The surrounding city is rich in history and offers numerous cultural and aquatic activities, providing a great work-life balance
