Must be licensed as a pharmacist in South Carolina. Must have experience with Meditech Magic. Must have experience with DoseEdge IV Workflow. Will be required to complete garbing and hand hygiene, gloved fingertip, and aseptic manipulation testing. Description: This facility is a 331-bed acute care hospital. It supports a free-standing behavioral health facility and three free-standing emergency departments. The pharmacy department consists of 55 team members, with 60% pharmacists and 40% technicians. The pharmacy operates under a decentralized model during the day and centralizes for evenings, nights, and weekends. Centralized pharmacy order entry support is available 24/7. The facility is compliant with USP 797 and USP 800 standards. The pharmacy provides advanced clinical services, including aminoglycoside, vancomycin, renal dosing, IV to PO conversions, and anticoagulation dosing consult services. Pharmacy staff participate in multidisciplinary rounds. The pharmacy system utilizes Meditech Magic and Automated Dispensing Cabinets. It employs various clinical pharmacist workflow tools and IV compounding software. Support for evening and night shifts is needed. Pharmacists are expected to dress professionally or wear designated scrubs. This is an established facility recognized for its specialized services and emphasis on teamwork.
