Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM Must-Have: High risk antepartum experience Experience in teaching hospitals Triage experience Experience with high risk deliveries Recovery from C-sections Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available for night shifts. The shift is scheduled for 3x12s, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. On-call duty is required for 12 hours every four weeks. This position does not require floating to other units. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates must have experience in high risk antepartum, teaching hospitals, and triage. Familiarity with high risk deliveries and recovery from C-sections is essential. Block scheduling may be accommodated with managerial approval. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission for consideration. This position requires adherence to facility needs throughout hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time. Mandatory flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. Please ensure compliance with pre-start requirements in a timely manner.
