Job Description:
Job Title: Multimodality Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology
Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift:
12 Experience: One year of experience as a registered Radiological
Technologist and Computed Tomography License: Required License by
State Certifications: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), CPR, BLS Must-Have:
Must have satisfactorily completed an approved school of
radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry
of Radiological Technologists. Description: Performs CT scans and
radiographic exams. Produces computerized tomographic scanner
radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed, according
to established practices and procedures. Obtains patient history,
explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Will
work three 12-hour shifts, with an on-call rotation among staff.
On-call rotation is required. If shifts are not filled when
on-call, weekend work may be required. Local candidates may be
accepted on a case-by-case basis. If more than two shifts per
contract are missed without medical documentation or a reasonable
explanation, the contract will be reviewed for cancellation.
Candidates for this position should be aware that during hurricane
season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency
response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November
each year, with peak months for hurricane activity in August and
September.
