Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Job Title Medical-Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse (MS Float Pool RN) Location Charleston, SC 29425 Duration 13 week contract Shift - 3x12-hour night shifts - 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM - 36 hours per week - Minimum of 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule - Holiday rotation required Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical units based on staffing needs - Float between the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower within scope of practice - Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions - Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital protocols - Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system Required Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years recent Medical-Surgical RN experience - Ability to float across med-surg units with varying patient ratios - South Carolina RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license - First-time travelers accepted Current Certifications - BLS (AHA) Preferred Qualifications - Prior float pool experience - Experience working in large academic or trauma centers Distance Requirement - Local radius: 60 miles - Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% reduced bill rate HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31690178.
