Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Missouri Start Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Columbia, Missouri Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Standard weekly schedule with 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio; downstaffing possible with 36/48 hours notice during 13-week contract Highlights: Work in a high-acuity Main Operating Room with 322 operating rooms serving diverse patient populations from pediatric to geriatric Exposure to a wide variety of surgical specialties including CABG, total joints, TAVR, robotics, spine, bariatrics, ENT, urology, and organ procurement Utilize advanced equipment including Da Vinci XI robotic systems, Brain Lab, lasers, cell saver, and microscopes Circulating nurse role with occasional conscious sedation or local-only cases; OB/GYN surgical areas are separate from Main OR 13-week contract with quick start availability Level II trauma designation facility offering fast-paced, challenging surgical environment Requirements: Active RN license Operating Room circulating experience required Cardioversion/Defibrillation skills required Procedural sedation experience required IV insertion and PICC/Central line management skills preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exceptional opportunity to expand your surgical expertise across multiple high-volume specialties in a state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge technology.
