Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Columbia, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,122 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Columbia, Missouri, 65212! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required in specialty License: Must hold an active state nursing license Certifications: BLS required; NIH & ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Stroke experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Ability to float to Medical Surgical unit Description: Ratios will be 1:5-6. Floating will be required to the Medical Surgical unit. The position requires the ability to work the full term of the contractual engagement. You must be able to work substantial hours of the assigned shift. Taking call and working assigned weekends are also required. You will need to work at least 50 percent of holidays that occur during the contract. Essential skills include telemetry monitoring, managing dysrhythmias, and blood product administration. Experience with stroke, seizures, head injuries, and management of feeding tubes and IVs is needed. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Patient demographics primarily include adults, with a daily census of 21. You will care for patients with diverse diagnoses, including stroke and migraines. Special procedures performed include EMU and video monitoring, along with lumbar punctures.
