RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience in a Medical
Surgical setting - Proficiency in isolation precautions and
peripheral line care/management - Ability to start and maintain IVs
- Experience with rapid response and code teams - Capability in
oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
Description: The Medical Surgical Float RN will work in various
medical surgical floors. The shift will be 3 nights per week from 7
PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend coverage is required every other week.
Holiday rotation is also required. The nurse will be responsible
for patient care and maintaining a patient ratio that may vary
depending on the unit assigned. This position requires floating to
multiple units. First-time travelers are accepted for this role.
Candidates with a pending South Carolina RN license will be
considered. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency
assignments during hurricane season from June through November. The
position requires compliance with all standard nursing practices
and protocols. Candidates must be prepared to handle various
patient diagnoses and demands following best practices in patient
