10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years overall experience, with at
least 1 year in ICU License: Current, Compact license in hand
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Must
have at least one year ICU experience. - First time travelers not
accepted. Description: Three 10-hour shifts from 1000 to 2030.
Rotating holidays, call, and weekend call required. Essential job
functions include the following: The ability to work consistently
throughout the contractual engagement. The ability to work
substantial hours during the assigned shift. The ability to take
call and work assigned weekends. The ability to work at least 50
percent of the holidays during the contract. Patient diagnoses
encompass a variety of conditions, including orthopedic,
neurological, spine, robotic, vascular, trauma, ENT, plastics, and
transplants. Must be able to titrate drips and assist with
ventilated patients if necessary. Critical care experience is
required as the unit cares for ICU patients in recovery. Candidates
must have experience with cardioversion and bedside procedures.
Preferred charting experience includes Cerner. Travel experience is
required. Float may be required to possible pre-op or phase 2. Must
be flexible in scheduling and able to accommodate weekend shifts.
Expect a typical patient ratio of 2 for both day and night shifts.
