Job Description Home Health & Hospice Central Intake SC currently seeks a Full-Time (Non-Clinical) Intake Coordinator that oversees all of South Carolina. Checks the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to verify whether or not the patient was a previous patient. Creates and updates patients’ assignment screen. Updates and/or changes patient status as necessary (pending payer verification, ready for scheduling, etc.). What You Bring: One year of experience in the health care industry preferably home care. Previous customer service and data entry experience preferred. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Valid driver's license and auto-liability insurance required.
