Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult
Behavioral Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. As a

collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized
behavioral health services. Our nurses play a pivotal role in our
mission to care for and improve human life by providing empathetic,
evidence-based nursing practices to adult patients experiencing a
range of behavioral and mental health issues. Assess and evaluate
adult patients' mental health status based on symptoms and
behaviors. Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to
individual patient needs in consultation with other healthcare
practitioners. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for
side effects and effectiveness in treatment. Provide crisis
intervention and support in managing immediate safety concerns.
Document patients' progress and treatment plans in medical records,
ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare
regulations. Educate patients and their families on managing
illnesses and treatment strategies, promoting mental health
awareness and understanding. Strong clinical skills in psychiatric
and mental health nursing. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients,
families, and healthcare team members. Ability to remain calm and
composed in challenging situations, providing care under pressure.
Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic health
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing
(RN-BC) preferred.
