Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide
specialized services in a K-12 school setting located in Ridgeland,
South Carolina. The position is a contract role for the current
school year, focusing on delivering therapy to support students'
educational and developmental needs. Responsibilities: - Conduct
evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students
in grades K-12. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
environment. - Provide direct occupational therapy services to
support students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily
living activities. - Document progress and maintain accurate
records to ensure compliance with school policies and state
regulations. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the
development of inclusive educational strategies. Qualifications: -
Valid Occupational Therapy license with relevant state credentials.
- Experience working with school-aged children and familiarity with
educational therapy settings. - Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with students, staff,
and families. - Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet
diverse student needs. - Knowledge of current best practices in
pediatric occupational therapy and school-based interventions.
