Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Savannah, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,174 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Savannah, Georgia, 31419! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU for ER Holding Type: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or 1 year of PCU with 1 years of TELE/ER/ICU experience. License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification Must-Have: Successfully completed at least 1 previous travel assignment. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a PCU for an ER holding type: stepdown unit. The nurse will work a ratio of 1:4-5, adjusted for patient acuity. Common patient diagnoses include cardiac, neuro, ortho, and critical care. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7, with a quick response time. Respiratory therapy handles ABGs and breathing treatments. Registered Nurses are required to read their own strips, which are saved in the chart. X-ray and CT services are available on-site, with techs for transport. Phlebotomy services are not available in the ER; Registered Nurses will draw labs. Transport techs are available only until 10 PM. Weekend requirements involve working every other weekend. Holiday requirements are based on department needs. There is no call or standby requirement. The dress code is navy scrubs. Department-specific orientation occurs during the first week of the contract.
