practice client is looking for a full-time periodontist to work in
one of the Charleston Area practices. The current periodontist is
moving out of the area due to their spouses Navy commitment. This
is an excellent opportunity with plenty of patients near a
retirement community in the area. The doctor will have plenty of
work and be able to generate a great income with future ownership
potential. New resident graduates are welcome to inquire! Key
Responsibilities Diagnosis and Assessment Treatment Planning Gum
Disease Treatment Dental Implant Placement Maintenance and
Follow-up Education and Patient Counseling Collaboration Research
and Continuing Education Being the "face" of the practice to
sources of referral and the community Qualifications Completion of
a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
degree Completion of a postgraduate periodontics program accredited
by the American Dental Association (ADA) or equivalent accrediting
body in the respective country South Carolina State license (or
ability/eligibility to obtain within 6 weeks) Certificate in IV
conscious sedation (preferred) Strong diagnostic and communication
skills Proficiency in using dental tools and equipment Dedication
to continuing education and staying current with advancements in
