The Department of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in coastal Charleston, SC is seeking a pediatric dermatologist to provide clinical care. Duties will include providing outpatient clinical care at the Medical University of South Carolina s main campus and/or satellite locations. We are seeking candidates with: BC/BE in Dermatology & Pediatrics, and eligible for South Carolina licensure Academic orientation, enthusiasm for teaching, passion for outreach and research Focus on collaboration, innovation, and teamwork Completion of a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship Our Opportunity: Robust clinical practice with a dedicated team of dermatology trained staff including 21 physicians, including general dermatologists, pediatric dermatologists, and Mohs surgeons, 15 residents and 7 APPs Potential to work at any of the Charleston area clinics Minimal call obligation Expectation to participate in teaching assignments and mentor students, interns, residents and fellows MUSC Offerings: Faculty position with academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications, expertise, and accomplishments Relocation assistance Excellent retirement options, including a pension and optional tax deferred contributions Sovereign Immunity malpractice coverage 22 days of annual leave, 15 days of sick leave, and 13 paid holidays Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligibility Epic Medical Record platform Founded in 1824, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) continues to uphold its long tradition of excellence in education, research and patient care.
