dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a fast paced
main hospital setting where your skills directly impact patient
outcomes every day. This full time role offers 36 hours per week,
strong benefits, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive
and clinically advanced environment. Qualified candidates are
eligible for a sign on bonus of $15,000 for experienced therapists
or $10,000 for new graduates, along with $3,200 in relocation
assistance to help make your transition smooth. In this role, you
will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients
with acute and chronic pulmonary disorders. You will collect and
analyze blood, sputum, and breath specimens, perform pulmonary
function testing, manage ventilators, and administer physician
prescribed respiratory therapies. You will also take primary
responsibility for respiratory care treatments and provide guidance
and oversight to respiratory therapy technicians. This position
offers competitive hourly pay with shift differential opportunities
for evenings, nights, and weekends, adding up to $5.30 per hour on
top of your base rate. The benefits package includes free dental
insurance, low cost medical coverage, and a robust pension plan
that is fully vested after eight years, providing long term
financial security. The ideal candidate is a graduate of a CoARC
accredited respiratory therapy program, holds an active Registered
Respiratory Therapist credential through the NBRC, and maintains
licensure with the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing
and Regulation. Current Basic Life Support certification through
the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
