Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our expanding Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing top-tier rehabilitative care to patients in need of physical therapy services. Working within an integrated healthcare setting, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patients’ recovery processes and promote their overall health and well-being. Our focus on advanced treatments and a highly trained staff ensures you will have the tools and support necessary to deliver exceptional patient care. Assess patient condition by examining muscle and joint movement, type of pain, and capability to stand and walk. Develop customized treatment plans according to patient needs and outcomes. Implement physical therapy interventions, effectively managing individual patient loads. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Guide and educate patients and their families to foster recovery, rehabilitation, and home care. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. Expertise in physical therapy techniques and tools Excellent patient management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physically challenging workload Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy license CPR certification recommended
