Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites dedicated and compassionate registered
nurses to apply for our RN Progressive Care PRN position. This role
is pivotal in delivering high-quality, patient-centered medical
care within our progressive care units. As a PRN nurse, you will be
responsible for providing critical care to patients with moderate
to severe conditions who require constant monitoring and
intervention. At HCA Healthcare, you will be part of a dynamic team
of medical professionals committed to improving human life across
our extensive network of facilities. Monitor and provide care to
patients with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and other progressive
medical conditions. Perform assessments and implement care plans
for patients in critical conditions. Operate and monitor medical
equipment used in patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to ensure cohesive patient care and plan execution.
Administer medications precisely as prescribed and monitor for and
report critical changes in patient status. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Educate
patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing needs
post-discharge. Expertise in using advanced medical equipment.
Strong clinical skills in a progressive care environment.
Proficient in assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. BLS/CPR
certification. Preferably ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
certified.
