HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Behavioral Health Nurse to join our diverse team. In this role, you will focus on delivering therapeutic and psychiatric care to children and adolescents experiencing a range of behavioral health issues. This position requires a deep understanding of child development, mental health conditions, and effective communication skills with both young patients and their families. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in our ongoing efforts to provide outstanding care that aligns with our mission to improve human life at every age. Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs for children and adolescents. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans based on patient needs and treatment goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to provide seamless care. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for side effects. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of pediatric mental health disorders and treatments. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) certification is preferred.
