Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Children's Behavioral Health Nurse to join our committed team of
healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be instrumental in
providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients
experiencing a range of behavioral health issues. Utilizing your
specialized knowledge in pediatric behavioral health, you will
collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored
treatment plans that promote patient health and wellbeing. This
position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment

evidence-based practices in a patient-centered approach. Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children
experiencing behavioral health issues Collaborate with physicians,
therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop
comprehensive treatment plans Provide crisis intervention and
support the stabilization of patients Educate patients and their
families on treatment plans and health management strategies
Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records Ensure adherence to safety and health
regulations Participate in educational workshops to enhance
professional and clinical knowledge Expertise in pediatric
behavioral health Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Crisis
intervention skills Proficient in clinical documentation and health

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Certification
in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (RN-BC) preferred
