Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites applications for the position of
Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical department on a PRN
(as-needed) basis. Join our dedicated team of professionals in
providing compassionate, comprehensive nursing care at one of our
nearly 2,000 sites of care across the country. As a Registered
Nurse at HCA Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to impact
patient lives positively and uphold our mission to care for and
improve human life. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and
prioritize patient needs and nursing care based on these
assessments. Administer prescribed medications, monitor vital
signs, and promptly communicate any changes in patient's condition
to appropriate healthcare team members. Document patient care
services by charting in patient and department records. Educate
patients and families on illness and injury prevention and
post-treatment care. Support patient safety initiatives and adhere
to infection control policies. Strong analytical and
decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment

401k Current Registered Nurse license applicable to the state of
employment BLS Certification required ACLS Certification
