Job Description The Department of Veteran Affairs Outpatient
Clinics is growing! If you love the beach, enjoy music/art, and
appreciate the military-look no further & come care for veterans as
a Primary Care Physician in our Chesapeake, VA or Virginia Beach,
VA clinic or our Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA! Our
Physician Provider will be based out of the main outpatient clinic,
as we provide the best whole-health care for veterans in an
outpatient setting! The patient pool for our Primary Care Physician
is 1200 assigned veterans with an allotted daily patient load of
13-totaling 30-hours a week dedicated to face-to-face care. The
Western Branch Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (WBCBOC) is
scheduled to open in April of 2025. Those hired for these positions
will be required to work at the VA Medical Center or one of the
other CBOCs (management determination based on need) until the
WBCBOC opens. Open to U.S. Citizens but non-citizens may be
appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens.
