Job Description:

HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated PRN (as needed) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Imaging team. As a PRN RN in Medical Imaging, you will provide critical nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures such as MRIs, CT scans, and X-rays. Working closely with radiologists, you'll administer medications, monitor patient responses, and ensure patient comfort during procedures. This role requires flexibility, exceptional clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Administer and monitor sedation and medications during imaging procedures. Prepare patients for imaging scans, ensuring their comfort and safety. Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to privacy and health safety protocols. Assess patients’ conditions before, during, and after procedures to ensure appropriate care. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Knowledge of imaging procedure protocols and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly and respond to varying workload demands Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified Certification in radiologic nursing (CRN) is a plus
