CT Tech Location: Moncks Corner, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,515 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 10 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Clinical-Allied Specialty: - Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred License: Registered in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or permanent certification in Radiography from state regulatory authority Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card Must-Have: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Description: Following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, CT technologists will produce computerized tomography scans of designated anatomical areas as ordered by the physician. Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed. They will be responsible for supervising student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them. Technologists will ensure good customer relations are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the care and safety of patients during imaging procedures utilizing age-appropriate care. Following established protocols and under the direction of Radiologists, technologists will perform procedures for accurate interpretations. Obtaining the correct written order for procedures is essential. Efficient use of time is crucial to accomplish patient care assignments while meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness expectations. Assist in the clinical education of student technologists. Efficient utilization of imaging equipment is necessary, with attention to minimizing repeat examinations. Using supplies with an emphasis on cost containment is expected. Instruct and prepare patients regarding imaging procedures and assist in obtaining informed consent as needed. Ensuring the patient’s understanding of the procedure is vital. Communicate effectively with family members regarding discharge instructions. Be responsive to the needs of internal and external customers. Ensure correct orders, diagnoses, and clinical history are entered into the computer system. Communicate with Radiologists regarding procedures effectively, both verbally and in writing. Present a positive and professional demeanor. Adhere to hospital and departmental safety policies and procedures. Practice good radiation protection and follow established guidelines. Maintain compliance with radiation safety principles. Complete annual mandatory in-services and maintain current licensure requirements. Support departmental goals and maintain the confidentiality of medical and sensitive information. Demonstrate flexibility and accountability in job duties. Take initiative towards improving departmental operations by offering ideas and solutions. Assist other members of the Imaging Team and/or other disciplines. Aid in maintaining records, reports, and files. Function as a team player by helping wherever needed. Consistently complete job responsibilities as required. Work environment involves frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients. Intermittent lifting, moving, or carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs is necessary. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity and reaching with hands/arms is expected. Required to communicate frequently, with corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and possible infection materials is part of the role. Frequent exposure to radiation risk and use of chemicals is part of the job. Work may be under stressful conditions and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays based on departmental needs.
