We are seeking a skilled Pathology Assistant (PA) for a locum
opportunity in Georgetown . This role involves supporting surgical
pathology services by performing specimen grossing, assisting with
tissue preparation, and ensuring accurate documentation for
diagnostic evaluation. The Pathology Assistant will manage the
daily pathology caseload and work closely with pathologists and
laboratory staff in a hospital-based laboratory setting. Providers
may primarily work at the Georgetown location with occasional
coverage at nearby facilities if needed. Schedule: Monday–Friday,
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) Assignment: Ongoing
coverage until a permanent provider is hired, with potential for
additional coverage opportunities. Requirements Requirements: ?
Certified Pathology Assistant (PA) ? ASCP certification required ?
Strong grossing experience in surgical pathology ? Ability to
manage and complete daily specimen caseloads ? Willingness to
credential with multiple healthcare systems if required Benefits
