Charge experience preferred Open to first-timers Description: The
Registered Nurse will work 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30
PM. There will be holiday rotation and weekend requirements every
other weekend. The patient care ratios will be 1:4-5. The clinician
may float within the scope to meet facility needs. The individual
will provide nursing care for medical and surgical patients. The
unit services direct and new admissions from various sources. It
serves a variety of diagnoses. Interdisciplinary support is
available from multiple teams including IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, and more. The ideal candidate will have
experience with accessing and managing ports, managing chest tubes,
and BiPAP/CPAP maintenance. Candidates should also be skilled in
telemetry monitoring, wound care, and IV insulin protocols.
Knowledge of colostomy/ileostomy management and pre/post
hemodialysis management is beneficial. The ability to perform
phlebotomy and central line blood draw is required. Familiarity
with oxygen administration and isolation precautions is necessary.
The organization prioritizes compliance, and travelers should be
prepared for emergency assignments during certain seasons. Modules
will be included in compliance hours. Requirements Required for
