Job Title: Neonatologist

The facility is part of a major regional referral center, known for providing the highest level of neonatal care in Southeast Georgia. • Provide specialized neonatal intensive care in a 92-bed Level IV NICU.
• Manage high-acuity neonatal cases in a state-of-the-art NICU facility.
• Participate in 24/7 in-house coverage with fellow neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 9 neonatologists and 8 experienced NNPs.
• Work closely with pediatric subspecialists for integrated neonatal care.
• Support and supervise active resident rotations through the NICU.
• Deliver continuous, evidence-based care for critically ill and premature newborns.
• Engage in organized rounding responsibilities promoting physician wellness.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Provide family-centered care in a high-empathy clinical environment.
• Work within a large healthcare network offering strong institutional support.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Georgia Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean malpractice/license history is highly preferred.
• Significant experience in Neonatology.
• DEA must be obtained prior to start.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (required).
• Georgia Medical License (or willingness to obtain) (required).
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) (required).
• DEA must be obtained prior to start (required).
