"No prior experience is required for this position; however, candidates with previous cooking experience will be offered a higher salary based on their expertise." Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to our established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety and food handling regulations are strictly followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed. Utilize kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives and ovens. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Help train new kitchen staff in pizza preparation techniques and food safety practices. Experience Previous experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in pizza or fine dining establishments. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures related to pizza making. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. Proficiency in using kitchen equipment are highly desirable.
