will we attain our business goals. Position Overview and Purpose
This role plans, assigns, and directs activity within our cold
storage facility in a safe and orderly fashion. This role will also
be primarily responsible for the selection, training and retention
of our warehouse team. Essential Functions and Basic Duties Direct
supervision of a team of warehouse employees, including assigning
work, setting and attaining performance goals, and managing
performance in accordance with organizational policies and
operating standards. Lead by example by living the company values
of Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Impact, Humility, and
Community. Work and lead others in a fast-paced, cold storage
environment. Cultivate a culture of productivity, belonging and
responsibility. Communicate company goals and vision, objectives,
and direction to warehouse staff. Cultivate Arcadia employees
personal and professional development to ensure they are proficient
in their current role and supported in their pursuit of future
roles. Establish an environment of teamwork, employee
involvement/empowerment, fairness, and consistency. Promote the
Open-Door Philosophy. Operate the facility in compliance with
health, safety, and environment regulations which establishes a
culture of safety. Ensure work areas and equipment are clean,
well-maintained, and safe. Build and maintain partnerships with
other departments across the organization. Qualifications HS
Diploma or equivalent required. Relevant advanced degree preferred.
4 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination
of education and experience. Experience with Warehouse Management
System (WMS) Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on guiding and
developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning.
Ability to solve problems and present information effectively to
customers, clients, and employees. Proficient computer skills,
including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work a flexible work
schedule and shift, including weekends if needed. Ability to
withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm
