Job Description:
HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services, is
seeking a compassionate and skilled Adolescent Mental Health Nurse
to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will focus on
delivering exceptional mental health care to adolescents across our
extensive network of care facilities. This position requires a deep
understanding of the unique challenges faced by adolescents and the
ability to provide supportive, patient-centered care that fosters
mental wellness and resilience. Assess, diagnose, and treat
adolescents with mental health disorders within a clinical setting.
Develop and implement tailored care plans based on individual
patient needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including
psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide
holistic care. Advocate for the mental health needs of adolescents
and provide guidance to their families. Maintain accurate patient
records and adhere to all confidentiality and legal requirements.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to
stay current with the latest practices in adolescent mental health.
Expertise in adolescent psychology and psychiatric nursing
practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability
to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Experience
with electronic health record systems. Knowledge of mental health
laws relevant to the care of adolescents. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license and
certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse (PMHNP-BC)
preferred.
