Job Description Job Description Korzen Health seeks a full-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner available 5 days/week for our Wound Care Clinic program in Walterboro, SC and Walterboro, South Carolina, United States, in collaboration with Colleton MC, Trident MC and Healogics. Note: This is a full time 1.0 FTE position with a split schedule between Colleton MC (Walterboro, SC) and Trident MC (Charleston, SC). Part time options are also available. For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the worlds leading expert in wound healing. This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinic and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. PRN shifts will depend on current provider availability/PTO. In general, Our standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours. All patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. The clinic is integrated with the Colleton Medical Center, and the candidate will be employed by Healogics. This is a procedure-oriented environment primarily serving geriatric patients. The successful candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in their core specialty and possess a strong procedural background with recent experience. Experience with minor procedures such as suturing and incision and drainage (I&D) is required, and procedural case logs will be requested as part of the credentialing process. Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training are available. A full clinical team will be in place from the start date. This job will be a mix of inpatient, SNF and Wound Care Center work Scope of Practice Highlights Full team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support staff. We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing. Standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours. Experience & Qualifications MSN/NP degree Must be Board-Certified Clear and Active State Medical License and a DEA License Compensation & Benefits The compensation model consists of a Base Salary with a RVU and Quality Bonus Plan 401K and retirement plan, Sick Time off.
