Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,703 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2-3 years of medical-surgical experience License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Description: The Registered Nurse will work rotating 12-hour shifts, either nights or days, depending on the needs of the unit. There will be a holiday rotation and weekend requirements every other weekend. Patient-to-nurse ratios will be 1:4-5. The clinician may be required to float within the scope to meet facility needs. The position is intended for candidates with 2-3 years of medical-surgical experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must possess a valid RN license in South Carolina or a compact state. BLS certification is required. The unit accommodates both medical and surgical patients. It serves direct and new admissions coming into the facility. The unit operates 24/7 and is designed for a variety of diagnoses. All Registered Nurses will wear solid royal blue or white tops with royal blue bottoms. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Travelers should be aware of the possibility of being assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Candidates should ensure they can commit to the pre-start compliance timeline. This position requires the ability to manage and prioritize patient care effectively. Experience with EPIC charting systems is required. Skills in handling various medical equipment and performing clinical procedures are essential.
