Job Description Summary The Medical University of South Carolina
(MUSC) Department of Neurology seeks a qualified individual to join
the faculty as an outpatient General Neurologist. Board
certification in General Neurology is required. Candidates with a
focus on Headache & Migraine are welcome to apply, and fellowship
training in Headache is preferred. Women and minority applicants
are encouraged to apply. MUSC Neurology is not accepting VISA
candidates at this time. As an outpatient General Neurologist, the
selected candidates will help provide exemplary care for a range of
patients presenting with various Neurological Diseases, and may
include Headache and/or Migraine. There may be available
opportunity for one to two weeks on the General Neurology Inpatient
service. He/she will facilitate access to timely care and will have
the opportunity to collaborate in care with a complete range of
subspecialists in Neurology and Neurosurgery. The primary location
for this position will be focused in an outreach clinic setting,
located in the West Ashley, Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, and
Summerville/Nexton regions surrounding Charleston, SC. The ideal
candidate will be well-trained and will possess excellent clinical,
interpersonal, and customer service skills. After hours and weekend
call obligations are minimal. The position will be at the rank of
Assistant or Associate Professor on the clinical educator track,
depending upon the qualifications and accomplishments of the

15 lbs., unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision,
corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to
see and recognize objects close at hand. (Frequent) Ability to see
and recognize objects at a distance. (Frequent) Ability to
determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
(Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities. (Continuous)
Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction. (Continuous)
Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor
